Our laboratory table tops, utility sinks, basins and system modules are made of high-quality polypropylene (PP), a thermo-plastic synthetic material which is extremely suitable for use in laboratories. Thanks to integrated metal supports and wooden bases, the products are self-supporting, versatile laboratory equipment. KLS has had many years of experience, guaranteeing that the sharp shape, the surface finish and the dimensional accuracy of the products are all perfect.
 

Chemical resistance

Polypropylene is extremely resistant to many types of acids, lyes, salts and solvents (detailed list of materials to which polypropylene is resistant is available upon request). This ensures not only a long working life, but also makes our products particularly versatile. 

Environmental behaviour

KLS AG attaches great importance to environmental responsibility. Waste and rejects are reduced to a minimum in production, and then recycled when they occur. Polypropylene is anyway a type of material which can easily be recycled.


Care

Thanks to the joint-free surface and the extreme sealing properties of polypropylene and technical ceramics, products from KLS AG are practically impervious to dirt. All commercially obtainable cleaning products (without abrasive additives!) can be used. Ethanol or acetone can be used in case of extreme soiling.
